"Valerie is an amazing counsellor and coach. She is warm, caring and has great empathy, but she can also be very tough and challenging when it’s needed. She seems to have a 6th sense that knows when to be tough and when to back off – it’s a real gift and makes all her sessions so valuable. She’s extremely good at tuning into your feelings, helping you see your own way forward and encouraging you every step of the way.
I can’t recommend her highly enough. She will certainly help you change your life, your attitudes and look at things in new and different ways. She has a great sense of humor and an overwhelmingly positive attitude which shines through every time you see her. Working with Valerie has had a huge impact for me. I’m far happier and my life is a far better place for having met her." Penny, Sussex
"Valerie is amazing. I first saw Valerie last summer after what can only be described as a complete meltdown, triggered by a relatively minor let down. Before my first session I was apprehensive … I’m quite a ‘no nonsense, pull yourself together’ kind of person and feeling so completely broken was alien to me. I wasn’t sure what to expect but Valerie was so warm and friendly I immediately felt at ease.
In the short term, I left Valerie after each session feeling calmer and more importantly stronger. Valerie expertly helped me to understand why I had had such an extreme reaction to something so minor and that it was OK to feel sad and to cry.
In the longer term, after only a few sessions Valerie has helped me to find parts of the person I was 20 years ago. The last 10 years have been difficult and as a coping mechanism I found I had developed traits that didn’t exist in my younger self … not speaking out and allowing things to happen to me rather than taking control. Now, 3 months after my last session with Valerie I am really seeing the benefits … I am so much happier. Thank you Valerie xxx" Ann, High Wycombe
