Hypnotherapy and NLP

Hypnotherapy helps you bring about permanent change. I cannot erase an event from your memory, but I can change the impact it has had on you.

I have used hypnotherapy with clients of all ages and backgrounds, helping them to manage their lives in healthier and more productive ways. Many of my clients have used hypnotherapy to overcome emotional problems and have succeeded in finding their own truth and core values.

What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is a safe, natural technique that bypasses your conscious mind (the part of your brain that rationalises events and thoughts), enabling us to work directly with your subconscious mind. By accessing the subconscious, we can let go of old beliefs and attitudes that are no longer useful, replacing them with new ones which fit better with you today.

How Does Hypnotherapy Work?

We work together to make sense of the feelings you don’t understand and trouble you. You have all the answers inside you, but can’t access them, as they’ve been suppressed by beliefs often inherited from our childhood. These old beliefs may no longer be useful, helpful or give us what we’re looking for, instead, they cause conflict between what we now want and what we believe.

My role is encouraging you to think differently about yourself and your life: to demonstrate that you have choices, where you think that none existed. By changing your thinking, you can see different options available to you and a new way forward.

During all hypnotherapy sessions, you are always fully conscious and in full control. I work in a calm, professional environment which is supportive and caring and above all, non-judgemental.
